INTEL XDK APP STARTER TUTORIAL 1

STEPS

1) Run Intel XDK

This tutorial is based on Intel XDK 1494 version.

You can check the version number by looking at the top right corner of Intel XDK application window.

2) Create a new project

Look at the bottom left corner of Intel XDK application window.

2.1) Click START A NEW PROJECT button.

2.2) Select Use App Starter

2.3) Select the project path, eg c:\xdk\projects\ (Windows)

2.4) Name your project, eg App Starter1

2.5) Click Create button.

2.6) Wait for success message to appear.

3) DEVELOP

1- Project Name

2 - Design Mode

3 - Project Root

4 -  Application Root (www)

5 - Page Layout

You are now in the DEVELOP tab.

Notice the EMULATE tab besides the DEVELOP tab.

4) EMULATE.

Click the EMULATE tab to see how your apps may look like when it runs on the mobile device.
